Performing Arts Center

The Premier party band from Green Bay, Brass Differential, will be at your McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center in Wautoma, on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. This performance is sponsored by the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin, Heid Music and the Wautoma Kiwanis Club.

Brass Differential debuted in 2012 and rose to local fame. The group’s live show features diverse set lists presented in a high energy style sure to please the most casual or sophisticated music fan.

Brass Differential’s sound is steeped in the New Orleans tradition and features a spicy gumbo of musical styles, including jazz, blues, funk, R&B, soul and hip-hop, among others. What sets Brass Differential apart, however, is its unique horn-centered sound, anchored in the low end by the sousaphone. They promise their live experience will please all with blistering, abundant solos and prolific attitude.

The group has performed at many outdoor music events throughout the upper and upper east side of Wisconsin to performing on the Weidner Center stage, at UW - Green Bay for the music department’s virtual Jazz Fest this last March.

The band includes Sasha Mikkelson (vocals), Ken Barhite (tenor and soprano sax), Bill Hill (trombone and vocals), Kelly Galarneau (sousaphone), Michael Sewell (bari sax), Matt Hillman (guitar), Dr. Adam Gaines (trumpet), Patrick Phalen (trumpet) and Steve Seitz (drums).

When entering the venue, please follow all recommended CDC Guidelines.

The Performing Arts Center is in need of volunteers to work in the box office. If interested please call the box office at (920) 787-2189.
