Age 42, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, at home in Denver, Colorado. Mandy was born September 19, 1983 in Neenah, Wisconsin and grew up in Wild Rose, WI, the daughter of Steve and Jackie Straw.
Mandy enjoyed traveling, hiking, snowboarding, yoga and so much more. She worked with COLORADO YOUTH AT RISK in Denver for many years and became a mentor. She also loved singing and playing guitar. Her niece and nephews have a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her parents: Jackie and Steve Straw; brother: Kevin, niece: Ava Straw and nephews: Aiden and Oliver Straw; she is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. She will be deeply missed!
As we all know life is not always sunshine and rainbows. Through it all, Mandy’s concern and love for others was evident, sharing life journeys with friends and family as she navigated her “free spirit” life style. Her now free spirit begins it’s next adventure.
A gathering of friends and family to honor Mandy will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the Saxeville Town Hall from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. We will continue to celebrate her life going forward.
