Arnold Roy Farvour, age 79, of Redgranite, WI, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Camp Douglas, WI, with his family by his side.
Arnold was a man who knew how to work with his hands and had a lifelong love of figuring things out. Cars were a true passion of his. He enjoyed working on them, repairing small engines, and bringing things back to life when they weren't working. There was a certain satisfaction in making something work again, and he had a way of making that look easy.
Beyond his love of cars and fixing things, Arnold enjoyed the simple things in life, time spent with family and friends, fishing, hunting, a good cup of coffee, and good conversation. He didn't need much to make a day worthwhile.
Arnold will be remembered for his love of cars, his ability to fix just about anything, his stories, his sense of independence, and the way he could always find something to tinker with. He will also be remembered at The Curve-in, where a cup of coffee and good company were often part of his day.
Arnold's life was uniquely his. He lived it in his own way, surrounded by the things he loved and the people who became part of his journey. He leaves behind not only his family, but countless memories, stories, and little moments that will continue to bring him to mind, a car that needs fixing, a fishing spot, a cup of coffee at The Curve-in, or simply the quiet companionship of a dog who was always by his side.
Arnold is survived by his children, Sarah (Jon) Hammond of Greenville, Rachel Covill of Camp Douglas, Timothy Farvour, Bradley Larsen; five grandchildren; great-granddaughter, brothers, sister, nieces and nephews.
He will be missed, remembered, and carried with us in all the stories we share and the memories we hold close.
A special thanks to Hospice Touch for assisting in caring for our dad.
