Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and dear friend Cindy Louise Schneider passed away peacefully Friday morning, August 8, 2025 at her home in Redgranite. She had been in failing health for the past year.
Cindy was born October 6, 1956 in Berlin, a daughter of Clarence A. and Sylvia Martha (Timm) Hoffman. She was raised in Berlin and attended the Berlin Schools. She married Albert Schneider October 29, 1977 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Auroraville. Albert preceded Cindy in death on February 5, 1997.
Cindy had lived in Wautoma for a time prior to moving to Redgranite in 2009. She loved to Polka dance, do crafts, puzzles, and attend fairs. She enjoyed watching humming birds, collecting angels, unicorns and owls.
She was a faithful member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Redgranite.
Surivors include her son, Shawn Hoffman of Redgranite, a grandson, Jordan; cousins, other relatives; special friends, Steve Smith of Berlin, Paul Dailey of Redgranite, Beth and Dan Ostrowski of Waupaca, Dan Thoma of Pine River, and her feline companion, Cosmo.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Sylvia, her husband, Albert Schneider, her sister, Jeannette Carpenter, and her special friend, Scott Potter.
Special Thanks to the staff of Juliette Manor in Berlin for the wonderful care Cindy received during her recent stay there.
MEMORIAL SEVICES for Cynthia Louise Schneider will be held Saturday, August 23 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 887 Bonnell Ave. (East Side of Redgranite. South of Highway 21) in Redgranite. Vicar Kathy Cartwright will officiate.
VISITATION: Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the Church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Services at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 23rd.
In place of flowers, Memorials will be appreciated in Cindy’s memory.
