Dale Yohn (A.K.A Snapper), 81 of Wild Rose passed away May 19, 2025, in hospice care with family present.
Dale was born on November 11, 1943, to Geraldine and Robert Yohn in Wild Rose. Dale was a Jack of all Trades. He worked as a young man as a set builder for 20th Century Fox, he was in the National Guard in 1968. He was one of the first builders of the “Bunk Silo” in the state of Wisconsin. He owned a construction business and built the family home he raised his kids in. Dale loved his property and raised vegetables, fruit and even animals. His warty pumpkins were sought after, and The Yohn Farm Market was widely known for having the best produce in the area. Dale was a mailman and made many friends on his route. Dale enjoyed nature, hunting, fishing, having a cold one with friends and being with family. He will be dearly missed.
Dale is survived by his Stepmother, Blanche Yohn and his four children, Wendy Yohn Covey (Scott), Ronald Yohn (Maria) Nichole Yohn Schultz (Randy) Ashlee Yohn Hobert (John), Fourteen grandchildren, Lucas, Alexi and Nicholas Berg, Chloe and Piper Covey, Willow & Hazel Yohn, Alexandria, Eyan, Aspen & Oaklie Schultz, Everly, Eisley and Lawson Hobert. Six great grandchildren, Leviana, Cash, Simon, Torrin, Mya and Lyla.
He was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents Myrtle and Griffith Sage. Paternal grandparents Martha and Walt Yohn. His parents Geraldine and Robert Yohn, his brothers Gary and Keith Yohn, his sister-in-law Meri Yohn.
The Celebration of Life will be held June 18th from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Lion’s Club in Wild Rose, 1100 S. Main St. Wild Rose WI 54984.
