Debra “Deb/Debbie” Lynn Anderson, age 72 of Redgranite, passed away peacefully November 1, 2025 at her home following a brief illness. Deb was born July 16, 1953 in Wausau, a daughter of Donald and Shirley Russ Darnick. She moved to Milwaukee in 1962. Deb lived in Texas and California prior to moving to Redgranite in the early 2000’s to be near her family.
She will be remembered as the friendly, smiling lady in the Deli at the former Redgranite Piggly-Wiggly. Deb had also been employed at Generac, a manufacturer of lighting and generators in Oshkosh.
Deb is survived by her daughter, Chris Anderson, grandchildren, Jade (Jeremy) Boyd, and Alec Leitner, a brother, Guy (Gloria) Darnick, a sister, Donna (Freddie) Gutierrez, a niece, Jessica (Chris) Waddell, and nephews, Matthew, Paul, and Brandon Darnick, extended family, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Don Darnick and Shirley (Russ) Casari, and her brother, Michael Darnick.
Debbie was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She had recently become a great-grandmother, which brought her incredible joy during her final months.
Deb had a quit wit, radiant smile, and beautiful blue eyes. She loved animals, music, nature, and was an avid reader. She loved her family above all else. She will be dearly missed.
