James 'Mike' Carroll age 78, passed away mid morning on Tuesday, at EdgeWater Haven, in Port Edwards, WI.
He was born in Cheyenne, WY. Mike fought in the Vietnam War and actively served in the US Air Force and the US Army. Afterwards, he worked as an AODA Counselor both in Colorado and his time here in Wisconsin.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife Tena Carroll, 2 step daughters : Heather (Gary Burmeister) Janzen of Wautoma, WI; Hillary (Matthew) Kostka Of Grand View, WI. Along with many Grandchildren; Spencer( Samantha) Kostka, Jacob (Heather) Dresback, Louie (Kat) Dresback, Aunesti Kostka, Megan (Nick) Lienemann-Dresback, Shelby Kostka, Christopher (Elle) Kostka, Corinne (Josh) Kostka and Adam Kostka; and Grandchildren; Grayson, Weston, and Rowan. Along with many friends.
Burial will be held off until his wife, Tena, passes so they can be together.
Services Will Be Held at:
St. Paul's Catholic Church
622 Beach St
Plainfield, WI
January 18th, 2025
10 am visitation, 11 am service
Followed by military honors and luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church.
