June Mary LaSure, age 92, of Poy Sippi, died peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah.
She was born August 1, 1933, at home in Poy Sippi, WI, the daughter of Chester and Lois Beck Snell. June attended Berlin High School. On June 14, 1952, she was united in marriage to Kenneth LaSure at First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi.
June was a bus driver for Mascoutin Transportation for 18 years. She found peace and joy being outside in the yard tending to her beautiful flower gardens and seasonally decorating her house. Her grandchildren often recall with affection how she would frequently make cracker candy for them. June was a faithful, active member of Wild Rose Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Annette) LaSure; grandchildren, Jeff (Tanya) LaSure, Jeremy (Amanda) LaSure, Katie (Bryan) Fischer, Amanda LaSure, Abby (Shawn) Kwidzinski and Matt (Becky) LaSure; great-grandchildren, Allie, Kaydence, Keira, Macie, Caleb, Addalyn, Peyton, Jackson, Ellie and Lukas; daughter-in-law, Charlene LaSure; and many nieces, nephews and friends. June was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, on January 16, 2025; son, Jim LaSure; brother, Maurice (Hatie) Snell; sisters, Irene (Henry) Lippert, Frances Doll, Shirley (Dennis) Erickson and Mary Grambsch; and her Shih Tzu, Ruby.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Wild Rose Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Ben Terpstra officiating. Interment will be in Poy Sippi Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola-Hempel Funeral Chapel in Poy Sippi. In place of flowers, the family would ask that memorials be directed to Wild Rose Baptist Church.
