Michael Felske, age 67, of Pine River, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton.
He was born April 17, 1959, in Racine, WI, the son of Joseph A. and Judith Kau Felske. Michael attended Wild Rose High School. On July 18, 2014, he was united in marriage to Jill Redemann.
Mike worked as an auto technician at many area auto dealers for numerous years, eventually owning and operating his own business, Poy Sippi Auto Center Plus, in partnership with Jacob Worthen. He was very involved with community events and projects, always willing to lend a hand. Mike enjoyed camping with family, throwing a good party, boating on the Wolf River and had a passion for hot rods, especially Oldsmobile 442s.
Spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, is what he cherished most. He had a way of making people laugh, whether he was telling a joke or on the receiving end of one. His genuine laughter and the light he brought into every room will never be forgotten. Mike was loud, proud, and could never go unnoticed or mistaken thanks to his signature saying, “Ta dah duh da duh.” It was just one of the many things that made him uniquely him and will forever bring a smile to the faces of those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Judith Felske; wife, Jill; children, CarrieAnn Rohm, Joseph M. Felske and Kiley (Izaiah) Hidde; two grandchildren, Stevie Rohm and Stephon Rohm; two sisters, Catherine Hansen and Debbie (Kevin) Watson; sister-in-law, Susan (Michael) McGlin; and nieces, nephews and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. Felske and parents-in-law, Michael (Joyce) Redemann.
A Celebration of Life for Mike will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m., at Roadrash Bar & Grill in Poy Sippi. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola-Hempel Funeral Chapel in Poy Sippi. The family requests if you would like to plant a tree in Mike’s memory, that would be appreciated.
