Nathan “Nate” Bartel, Age 50, passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2026.
Nathan grew up in Lohrville (Redgranite), WI and lived most of his adult life in Oshkosh, WI.
Nathan enjoyed being in nature, shooting guns, cheering on the Packers, tinkering on his vehicles, and spending time with friends and family. He especially enjoyed exchanging text messages with his nephew Logan during the Packer games. Nathan had a deep love for his cats and treated them as if they were his children.
He is survived by his parents, Nancy Petit and Wayne (Karla) Bartel; his brother, Jonathan (JoAnn) Bartel, and their children, Jensen, Jessica, and James; his sister, Angela (Brian) Ramirez, and their children, Logan (Anna), and Desiree; as well as other relatives and friends.
Nathan will be deeply missed and left a hole in all our hearts. We will do our best to be shared with him.
We are born and we die. Of those two things we have no control, so they don’t matter much. What matters is what’s in between.
In accordance with Nathan’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
