After a brief illness, it is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Paul Dean Andersen age 77 of Redgranite, WI. Who died on June 14th at Evergreen Nursing Home in Oshkosh, WI.

Paul was born on March 11, 1948. Paul was a very quiet and simple man who was kind to all.  He grew up as an only child helping his parents in their grocery store in Poy Sippi, WI. He graduated from Berlin High School class of 1966, later being drafted into the Army. He served several months in Friedberg, Germany which he obtained the rank of sergeant in November of 1969. After returning home from the Army, he started working at Johnson-Fortinum in Berlin, WI and dedicated 35 years there. Then immediately went on to work for the city of Berlin’s Park and Rec Dept. for 6 years up until his retirement at age 63.  After retirement you could find Paul in the woods doing what he enjoyed most, cutting wood to heat the house all winter long and to use for his famous campfires many nights in his backyard, which was always full of family and friends watching the flickering fire late into the night and sometimes into the early mornings. Keep stoking the fires from up above Paulie!!!! Paul also enjoyed deer hunting with his son and grandsons. He also loved going to the casino with his wife, daughter and many friends, Paul also enjoyed going to the car races with his brother-in-law Buckwheat and his buddies.

Paul is survived by his wife of 54 years Roxann (Rocket) Andersen, son Correy (Lisa) Andersen, daughter Brook (Jon) Daniels.   He had 2 grandsons Connor Andersen and Luke (Sara) and 2 great grandchildren (Payton and Baker).
