During Power of Community Week, we take time to recognize the local organizations that truly make Coloma a stronger place to live. The Coloma Lions are a perfect example of what it means to live their motto: We Serve. From the Easter Egg Hunt and elementary school candy bags to participation in Coloma parades, eye bank runs, food pantry collections, local school support, scholarships, and many other projects, the Lions continually give back to the community in meaningful ways.
To highlight their impact, a display was created showcasing local Lions projects, and thank-you cards were written to express appreciation for their continued service.
On April 20, the Coloma Lions were recognized for all they do by National Exchange Bank during Power of Community Week. National Exchange Bank is proud to support Coloma through donations to projects such as the splash pad and playground, as well as by encouraging employees to volunteer at community events like the Chicken Chew and Concerts in the Park. Coloma is fortunate to have dedicated volunteers who work hard to keep the community vibrant, and the Coloma Lions continue to lead by example through service.
