The Pine Tree Needler’s Quilt Guild presented Quilts of Valor on Nov. 8. The nationwide program was started in 2003 by quilter Catherine Roberts when her son was deployed in Iraq. Since the program’s start, there have been over 427,121 quilts awarded to our service members.
None of the quilts are the same, with each made with love and respect for our veterans.
