Robert “Bobby” J. Morren, Jr., age 70, of Tripoli, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI. Bobby was born in Tomahawk, WI, on July 7, 1956, to the late Robert and Romaine (VanStrydonk) Morren, Sr.

A lifelong resident of Tomahawk, Bobby was a proud graduate of Tomahawk High School. He spent many years as a self-employed contractor, co-founding Kip & Co., where he built not only homes and projects but lasting friendships. Bobby especially cherished the many years he worked side by side with his good friend, Dave Sheridan.

Bobby found his greatest peace outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, he treasured every opportunity to be in the woods or on the water. Some of his happiest moments were spent on The Willow. He also had a special place in his heart for his dogs, whose companionship brought him great joy over the years. Above all else, Bobby loved his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Jason (Erin) Olsen, and Brianne (David) Bethel, along with his grandchildren, Ryan and Vivian Skees and Sophie and Cash Olsen; his brothers, Ron Morren and Dan Morren; his sisters, Doreen (Chet) Anderson, Charmaine (Rick) Kaiser, Cindy (Gary) Dotter, and Chris (Curt) Foster; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Jim) McCullough, Jamie (Aaron) Fawley, Scott Anderson, Erik Anderson, Derek Dotter, Jessica (Dan) Shore, and Devin Foster (Katie Michalski). Bobby is further survived by his great-nieces and nephews, Cole, Keegan, Rylie, Landon, Kinsley, Reid, Blayke, Deekin, Braylee, Adalee, Bethany, Mariah, Grayson, Marlie, Jaxson, Axel, and Liava. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Romaine; his maternal grandparents, Alphonse and Elenor VanStrydonk, and his paternal grandparents, Eli and Gertrude Morren.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date and announced at that time.

Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
