School House Threads helps keep Wild Rose students warm

Posted

The Wild Rose Kiwanis, “School House Threads” program was a resounding success last year due to the generous support of our community for which we are most grateful!
This past winter brought with it the realization that too many of our Wild Rose elementary school children do not have sufficient cold weather clothing, particularly winter coats and winter boots.
This season, we are once again asking for your support in supplying lightly used or new, winter coats, snow pants and winter boots as these are always needed. A snowy winter can be great fun for a child but not so, if they are too cold to enjoy the fun activities!
Our wish is to provide, with your generous help, a warm and fun-filled winter season for all of our Wild Rose school children!
Monetary donations can be sent to Wild Rose Kiwanis - School House Threads at P.O. Box 138, Wild Rose, WI, 54984. Donations will also be accepted at drop-off locations, Wild Rose Patterson Memorial Library or the Leon-Saxeville Library in Pine River.
