Shots fired and property damage in City of Wautoma

On Aug. 3 at approximately 2:29 a.m., Wautoma Police responded to a report that a vehicle struck a pedestrian on Main Street in front of the A&W.
Officers made contact with Derrell Lee who was currently on supervision with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Officers learned Lee had just kicked out the windows at Grizzly Fitness Center and fled towards A&W where he ran in front of a passing vehicle. Officers noted Lee was exhibiting signs of suspected drug use.
When approached by the officers, Lee jumped onto the hood of a Wautoma Police Car, damaging the hood. Lee was treated for injuries and charges were referred to the Waushara County District Attorney for Felony Damage to Property and Disorderly Conduct.
While handling the incident with Lee, officers heard gunshots coming from the 400 block of W Main Street. Jordan Collins and Kevin Schwersenska were identified as possible suspects. Both admitted to shooting a firearm with no intention to harm any persons or property.
The firearm involved was seized and charges were referred to the Waushara County District Attorney for Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon.
