Many people may not realize that the Menasha Public Library is one of our sister libraries. Through the Winnefox Library System, libraries across Waushara County and Menasha share resources every day. In fact, Waushara County patrons have likely borrowed books, movies, and other materials from Menasha without even realizing it.Following the devastating tornado that struck Menasha, Waushara County library directors wanted to come together and do something meaningful to support a community that is part of our larger library family.
From September 1–30, libraries in Coloma, Hancock, Pine River, Plainfield, Poy Sippi, Redgranite, Wautoma, and Wild Rose will each host a donation jar, with all funds collected benefiting Menasha. Monetary donations only will be accepted, allowing the city and organizations serving the community to direct those funds where they are needed most.
We hope you’ll join Waushara County Libraries in supporting our neighbors in Menasha as they continue to recover and rebuild.
Together, we can help their story continue to grow.
