Waushara County Watershed Lakes Council to hold Summer meeting

The Waushara County Watershed Lakes Council, Inc. (WCWLC) will hold its Summer meeting on Saturday, Aug. 8 at 9 a.m. at the Waushara County Highway Department, 1001 East Main Street, Door B south side (Enter driveway off Townline road at the water tower).  This meeting is open to the public and refreshments will be served.

Guest Speaker: Raymond “Skip” Hansen, Chairman of Porter’s Lake District, will discuss the importance of Worker’s Compensation insurance and Public Officials Liability Insurance

Additional agenda items for this meeting are as follows:

• Information & possible action on Land Conservation request: Todd Wahler, Director of Land Conservation and Zoning – Discussion on Winnebago Waterways Program Funding
• Information & possible action on local AIS Grant programs;
• Up-Date on Wake Boat Legislation
• Election of Board members

The Board of Directors will be meeting following the regular meeting.

Members of the Council are encouraged to attend this meeting.
