Organizers remind Waushara County families interested in participating in the Waushara Holiday Project to submit their applications now, before the Sunday, Nov. 16 deadline. This year’s Holiday Project will be for gifts only for children ages 0 through 17. Applications received after that date cannot be accepted.
The Waushara Holiday Project provides gifts and food for county residents who apply for assistance. Applications can be completed on-line at https://tinyurl.com/2025WPCHoliday-Project or by stopping at the Waushara County Department of Human Services at 380 S. Townline Rd., Wautoma. All applications must be completed and returned no later than Nov. 16, 2025.
Unwrapped gifts will be distributed to families on Thursday & Friday, Dec. 11 & 12 at Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma.
Organizers welcome the donation of unwrapped toys and financial gifts to support the project. Monetary contributions can be mailed to the Waushara Prevention Council – WHP at 380 S Townline Rd., Wautoma, WI 54982. Those interested in organizing toy drives or donating unwrapped toys can contact Angie at 920-787-6550 or angie.konieczki@wausharacountywi.gov. Toys and monetary gifts are appreciated by Monday, Dec. 1.
