Gary Wysocki of Wysocki Farms stepped in to spread some Christmas cheer by donating potatoes to Joseph’s Hope Food Bank. The Wysocki family has been working with the food bank for over 20 years.
Gary commented, “We have a great community! Our family is fortunate enough to be able to share with our neighbors.” He is also part of the Plainfield Lions Club, donating his time to load vehicles alongside other community volunteers, providing nutritious food to those in need once a month.
Wysocki Farms employs approximately 80 hardworking citizens from the Bancroft area, where the team manages potato harvests on 25,000 acres. “Most of the potatoes we grow wind up in southern and eastern states feeding the nation,” said Gary.
Gary’s immediate family also blesses 12 area students with Lift Scholarships based upon FAFSA requirements. Any student interested in applying can contact Tri-County Schools in Plainfield for further application information.
