Accidents reported in Waushara County

4/13/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 1:55 p.m. on STH22 southbound in the Town of Wautoma. Kelly Paredes, Wautoma, failed to properly negotiate curve, advising she had fallen asleep. Vehicle went off roadway and struck an embankment. Vehicle went airborne and overturned multiple times before coming to rest.

4/27/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 8:02 p.m. on CTHD in the Town of Poy Sippi. Casey Pongratz, Berlin, drove on the left shoulder ditch line for approximately 20 feet. Vehicle then entered the left shoulder ditch, rolling and came to rest in the field north of County Rd. D. Unknown as to what occurred prior to the crash.

4/28/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 6:42 a.m. on Old Hwy 21 in the Town of Coloma. Sarah Vollriede, Coloma, stopped at the stop sign. Richard Popp, Westfield, was westbound on STH21. Popp crossed the centerline on STH21 to make a left turn onto Old Hwy 21 and made contact with the front Vollriede.

4/29/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 7:21 a.m. on CTHV northbound in the Town of Hancock. Paul Mc Kenna, Muskego, was negotiating a curve when his trailer hydroplaned and struck Katie Sucharski, Freedom, negotiating the same curve.

5/4/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 2:10 p.m. on the intersection on CTHV southbound at CTHC eastbound in the Town of Hancock. Justin Ho Hong, Auburn, AL, approaching a stop sign on CTHC while Evan Starks, Marshall, approached the intersection of C & V. Hong failed to stop at the stop sign and struck Starks in the trailer. After Hong collided with Starks. Hong skidded and ended up on the southwest side of the intersection where the vehicle struck a culvert and came to rest.

5/7/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 8:01 a.m. on STH21 eastbound in the City of Wautoma. Tyler Volp, Omro, operating tractor with flatbed trailer, swerved right taking evasive action to not strike Donald Mamerow, Redgranite. Mamerow failed to yield to the right of way to Volp when making a left turn from N. Century Dr. on to STH21&73/Main St. eastbound. Mamerow side-swiped Volp’s trailer. Volp pulled into the median turn lane after being struck and Mamerow returned to pull behind him, and then left eastbound on STH21/73. Volp had partial plate of Mamerow, and witness provided full plate. Deputy made contact with Mamerow at his residence and took photographs of damage. Velp stated that the vehicle had zipped right out into the intersection, and he saw him coming and swerved the best he could. Mamerow stated he looked, but did not see semi.

5/8/2026: At 3:36 a.m., Eric McKee, Denmark, on CTHA, Westbound, Town of Saxeville.
