Accidents reported in Waushara County

5/11/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 4 p.m. in a parking lot in the City of Wautoma. Gerald Wentland, Wautoma, was backing out from a stall and did not see legally parked Unit 2.

5/14/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 1:40 p.m. on the intersection on CTHF eastbound at Woodhaven Blvd in the Town of Marion. Antonio Luna, Van Dyne, was traveling eastbound. Gregory Bolstad, Wautoma, was turning left. Van Dyne failed to see Bolstad turning and struck Boldstad.

5/15/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 1:10 p.m. on Aniwa Rd/CTHBB southbound in the Town of Plainfield. Rodney Beggs, Plainfield, backed out of driveway and failed to yield to the right of way to oncoming farm vehicle. Jacob Taylor, Iola, struck Beggs before coming to rest.

5/16/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:10 p.m. on CTHH eastbound in the Town of Bloomfield. Kory Drake, Omro, crossed the centerline and went into the north ditch. He stated there was a motorcycle that was close to the center line and they were afraid of hitting them, so Drake jerked the wheel and lost control. Drake stated there was a laceration on their head. Drake left the scene before deputy’s arrival.

5/19/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 11:27 p.m. on 21st Ln in the Town of Mount Morris. Garrett Collier, Wautoma, was northbound when the underside of the vehicle caught fire while driving. Collier pulled to the side of the road and stopped.

5/23/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:41 p.m. on IH39 southbound in the Town of Plainfield. Miguel Reyes, Waunakee, was operating a motorcycle on IH39 when he began to loose control, and overturned on IH39. Reyes was thrown from the cycle and landed in the roadway. Witness stated Reyes started to wobble in the roadway prior to the crash.
