Accidents reported in Waushara County

7/8/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:23 p.m. on IH39 southbound in the Town of Plainfield. Ana Marin, Plover, lost control on the wet bridge and struck the concrete wall. Tires tread was critically low, contributing to the crash.

7/15/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 5:16 p.m. on STH21 eastbound in the Town of Wautoma. Julie Downs, Waupaca, was backing out of a parking spot and the vehicle struck the drivers’ side of legally parked Unit 2 behind them. Unit 2 sustained a small dent near the wheel well. Downs’ vehicle was undamaged.

7/18/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 8:41 p.m. on Fairway View Ct. in the Town of Dakota. Nancy Sauerbrei, Fairwater, was backing into the parking lot with a bus and struck Unit 2, which was legally parked in a parking stall.

7/25/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 1:09 p.m. on STH21 eastbound in the Town of Marion. Caleb Hill, Wautoma, was eastbound on STH21. Lea Pomplin, Redgranite, was eastbound waiting in traffic to turn left onto CTHS. Hill ran into the rear of Pomplin’s vehicle.  

7/26/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 5:18 p.m. on CTHH westbound in the Town of Springwater. Mya Bahr, Amherst, stuck a mailbox on the north side of the roadside. Bahr advised she was on her phone and did not see it.

7/26/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:33 p.m. on 9^th Ave in the Town of Oasis. Matthew Mclarnan, Almond, was traveling north when the vehicle stalled and started to smoke under the hood. Mclarnan parked the vehicle at the stop sign of the intersection and occupants exited the vehicle. The fire department was called to put the fire/smoke out.

7/21/2026: At 5:09 a.m., Kipp Fenhouse, Wild Rose, on STH 22, Northbound, Town of Springwater.

7/26/2026: At 10:24 p.m., Coryn Czaikowski, Stevens Point, on IH39, Northbound, Town of Hancock.

7/29/2026: At 9 a.m., Miroslaw Link, Berlin, on STH21, Westbound, Town of Marion.

7/29/2026: At 10:40 a.m., Melvin Tesch, Pine River, on CTHA, Westbound, Town of Saxeville.
