Accidents reported in Waushara County

*7/29/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 8:47 p.m. in a parking lot in the Town of Plainfield. Miguel Ramirez, Plainfield, struck the northeast corner of the BP Gas Station building. He advised that he was attempting to press the brake to park, but stepped on the gas instead which caused the driver to hit the building.

*8/1/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 8:01 a.m. on STH73 northbound in the Town of Oasis. Justin Coe, Wild Rose, approached a curve and stop sign, but did not negotiate the curve and drove straight, going off the roadway. Coe struck a plastic electrical cable marker pole and began to drift in the grass. The vehicle then struck the ditch where it rolled/overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its’ passenger side in the southbound lane of travel on STH73.

 

*8/2/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 3:33 a.m. on the intersection of N. Limits Rd/CTHA westbound in the Town of Rose. Nicole Siddall, Necedah, failed to stop at the stop sign on the intersection and proceeded to cross STH22 and entered the west side of the ditch, where the vehicle came to rest.

*8/3/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:40 a.m. on private property in the Town of Mount Morris. Adam Jones, Wautoma, swerved to miss three deer in the road. Vehicle then entered the east ditch, crossed the driveway, and made contact with trees in the yard and came to rest on the tree.

*8/4/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 6:42 a.m. on private property in the Town of Warren. Dylan Lederhaus, Redgranite, stated he went onto the right shoulder, over-corrected, and went across the road. Lederhaus went off the left shoulder, slid across a driveway, hit a tree on the rear passenger door, and came to rest in the garden.

*8/4/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 10:02 p.m. in a parking lot in the Town of Wautoma. Unit 1 was legally parked in the parking lot and Karin Diedrich, Redgranite, was parked in the north parking spot next to Unit 1. Diedrich was backing out of the parking spot and turned the wheel to soon, striking Unit 1.
