Accidents reported in Waushara County

7/29/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 9:07 p.m. on STH21 eastbound in the Town of Marion. Faith Meyer, Berlin, was driving behind Lane Burgess, Berlin. Burgess had slowed down as the driver reported seeing a deer on the gravel shoulder of the south ditch. Meyer struck the rear end of Burgess. Meyer stated that she was attempting to adjust her front lights near the time of the collision. Meyer’s vehicle was towed from the scene due to front end damage.

7/30/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 6:53 p.m. on 28^th Ave. in the Town of Leon. Janis Boutwell, Redgranite, was traveling southbound when they stated they swerved because of a deer on the road. Vehicle went off roadway and hit several trees.  

8/12/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 5:16 a.m. on CTHA eastbound in the Town of Springwater. Mark Duran, Wautoma, left the roadway and entered right shoulder, striking the ditch. Then, the vehicle continued to strike a tree with the right front corner of the vehicle.

8/12/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 5:06 p.m. on the intersection of STH73 at 9^th Ave. in the Town of Oasis. Thomas Bednarski, Redgranite, was traveling south on STH73. Preston Knutson, Almond, was stopped at the sign on 9^th Ave., traveling southbound. Knutson struck Bednarski when accelerating southbound across STH73 and onto CTHO. Knutson advised they did not see Bednarski. Bednarski attempted to swerve away from the collision and slammed on the brakes, causing tire marks on STH73.

8/13/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 4 p.m. in a parking lot in the Town of Wautoma. Legally parked Unit 1 was parked in the Pick n Save parking lot and was struck by unknown Unit 2, that was not on scene.

8/7/2026: At 7:50 a.m., Isaac Schuetter, Manistique, MI, on CTHA, Westbound, Town of Saxeville.

8/13/2026: At 12:21 p.m., Samantha Meyer, Waupaca, on CTHO, Westbound, Town of Rose.

8/15/2026: At 5 a.m., Cassandra Roemer, Wild Rose, on CTHAE, Northbound, Town of Saxeville.

8/16/2026: At 2:14 p.m., Alan Malthe, Hancock, on CTHC, Westbound, Town of Deerfield.
