Kathleen “Kathy” Lynn Buhrow, age 74, of Wautoma, passed away on Saturday January 3, 2026. Kathy was born on January 30, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Thomas and Betty Moran (nee Garrison). She was married to Kenneth Buhrow for 52 years before he passed away November 11, 2019.
Kathy lived in a number of small towns in the area, until finally settling in Redgranite in the early 1980’s. While living in Redgranite, Kathy was employed by the State of Wisconsin, working at Winnebago Mental Health, Wisconsin Resource Center and Redgranite Correctional Institute where she retired in 2011.
Kathy enjoyed cooking and good food, all of her children learned to cook from her. The family really centered around the kitchen and being home. She also enjoyed a few adventures to the casino and was able to take trips to Las Vegas and Niagara Falls before her passing.
Survivors include her children; Alvin (Lori) Buhrow, of Egg Harbor, WI. Kenneth Buhrow of Berlin, WI, Jeremy (Stacy) of Oklahoma, and Jennifer (Jordan) Foley of Wautoma, WI; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kathy is also survived by her brothers and sister; Thomas (Marlene) Moran, William (Kathy) Moran and Judith (Dennis) Uecke; countless nieces and nephews, and many in-laws from Kenneth’s family.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth and daughter Michelle.
Kathleen has been cremated, per her request. Her Memorial Visitation will be held at Ruminski Funeral Home, Redgranite on Friday, January 30, 2026 (Kathy’s Birthday) from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., with a short service at 3:00 P.M.
A meal will be served following the service at the Redgranite Lions Club Hall.
