New location for the Wild Rose Classic Car Show

Posted

The organizing committee of the Wild Rose Classic Car Show is announcing that this year’s car show will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, on the grounds of the Wild Rose Fire Department on County Highway A west of the Village of Wild Rose, located at 145 Grant Avenue, Wild Rose.
It is anticipated that this year’s car show in its new location will be bigger and better than ever, with everything happening in one convenient location. On Friday night, Sept. 19, the very popular cruise of classic cars will also be departing from the Fire Department grounds before winding its way through the beautiful Waushara County countryside and then returning for a night of fun in downtown Wild Rose with a free street dance. Please take note that this year the Friday night cruise will start at 5:30 p.m., a half an hour earlier than in years past.
The Wild Rose Kiwanis will again be offering their delicious breakfast on site at the show from 7:30 a.m. on Saturday until 10:30 a.m., and the Wild Rose Fire Department and Fire Department Auxiliary will be serving lunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be music all day long at the show, train rides available on the show grounds, and a fall festival flea market and craft show adjacent to the show grounds.
This is the car show’s eighteenth year, and the Wild Rose community and the car show’s organizers have every right to be extremely proud of the success of the show. Larry and Nancy Martin were very accommodating and generous in allowing the car show to be held on their property in Roseville, for the first seventeen years of the show, and car show organizers are extremely grateful for their participation, cooperation, and encouragement.
The organizers of the Wild Rose Classic Car Show are busily putting the finishing touches on all of the show details and will provide much more information about the show and the cruise as the date of the show approaches.
