Sophie K. Weedman, age 60 of Weyauwega, WI passed away unexpectedly at her home Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025. Sophie was an Alaska native who had many interests, cards, shopping, going out to eat, fishing, music, watching movies, and hanging out with her guardian, Heidi, and her dog, “Moose.”
Sophie was a very happy soul, who brought smiles to everyone who knew her. She lived in Wautoma with her previous guardian, Charlene Carey until 2009 when Charlena passed away.
Sophie is survived by a sister in Alaska, and her “adopted” family in Wisconsin who she was with since she was in her early 20’s to include Heidi Stotzheim of Weyauwega, Rachel Ransom of Black Earth, WI, Mary Ransom, Peter Ransom, and Jesse Ransom, all of Middleton, WI.
Sophie lived a very full life and will be very missed by all who knew her.
The Ruminski Funeral Home of Redgranite assisted Sophie’s family with arrangements.
