Thrivent Mecan River Group launches 20th Annual Toy Drive with special matching campaign

The Thrivent Mecan River Group is excited to announce the launch of its 20th annual toy drive, supporting local children through Toys for Tots and the Waushara Holiday Project Angel Tree. To maximize community impact, the office is hosting a special matching campaign to support those in need this holiday season.
The toy drive runs all month long, with a final donation deadline of Monday, Dec. 1. A key feature of this year’s effort is the matching campaign:
•Standard Match Week (Nov 17 – Nov 21): Thrivent Mecan River Group will match every new, unwrapped toy donated with a toy of their own (1:1 match).
•Cookie Walk Special (Saturday, Nov 22): On Saturday, Nov. 22, during the community Cookie Walk (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), Thrivent will significantly increase the match, donating two toys for every single toy donated (2:1 match).
The total matching contribution from Thrivent is capped at $1,500, encouraging the community to participate early to reach the fundraising goal. Celebrating its 20th year supporting this community effort, the Thrivent Mecan River Group is highly dedicated to making this the most impactful drive yet. The matching program is designed to give community members the chance to double or even triple the impact of their generosity, ensuring that local families can provide a joyous holiday for their children.
