Waushara County Public Health seeking community feedback

Posted

Waushara County Public Health is currently exploring the possibility of placing a public health vending machine in our community, and they are seeking input from residents.
This potential initiative would provide free health, wellness, and prevention items in a discreet and accessible manner. Examples of items may include first aid supplies, hygiene products, harm reduction materials, and other prevention-focused resources. The goal is to improve access to essential public health supplies while reducing barriers such as cost, transportation, or stigma.
At this time, no decisions have been made regarding placement or specific contents. Community feedback will help determine what items are most needed, where the machine should be located, and how to make it most accessible and beneficial.
The project would be supported through grant funding, not local tax dollars.
Community members are invited to complete a short, anonymous survey, which takes approximately five minutes. The survey can be accessed at: https://forms.gle/VSLNgVyqXi882Gg58 or by scanning the QR code.
